Curtis Island GLNG

DTS provided survey support in assoication with Robinson Engineering Surveys to assist John Holland to confidently proceed with the construction of wharfing and piling associated with the Curtis Island GLNG facility.

The nature of marine piling requires a comprehensive understanding of three dimensional geometry and how to stringently apply survey techniques to monitor the progress of pile movement during the driving process. Under the guidance of Peter Robinson, DTS facilitated construction through site set out of marine piles and control maintenance through to the conformance reporting of structural elements and the aquisition of as built documentation. The nature of the works required mobilisation of staff within a FIFO environment and the provision of ongoing internal support to facilitate the provision of services.
