Roads and Maritime Services required extensive detailed design surveys over large sections of the Glenugie to Ballina section of the Pacific Highway.
Due to the nature of the project, DTS established and adjusted a fully constrained control network throughout the project corridor to ensure confidence in the aquisition of detail and level data. Considerable operational control was required to ensure the safety of remotely deployed workers operating within a fully functional highway environment. Risk management and the development of risk mitigation strategies formed a large component in ensuring the saftey of our surveyors throughout the projects duration. The resultant survey provided to RMS in 12d format transitioned seemlessly into the clients engineering environment and was met with extreamly positive feedback with respect to the survey methodologies and outputs.
