Sarina Beach Shopping Centre

FKG approached DTS to provide initial design surveys for the future expansion of the Sarina Beach Shopping Centre.

Stage 2, comprised of an additional 31 townhouses, was finalised in early 2014.

As an extension to existing facilities, the survey required accurate location of all existing infrastructure on the subject site and also a section of the Bruce Highway to facilitate future road widennings.

As the building design was to bridge an existing stormwater culvert, accurate location and levels of existing drainage infrastructure was critical in achieving confidence in the hydraulic design. Throughout construction, DTS provided construction set out for hold down bolts, bridging slabs, structural columns and all associated civil infrastructure such as car parks and drainage. DTS also provided as built documentation post completion including conformance reporting of hold down bolts and structural building elements.
